A posture corrector is a reminder, not a cure. We would rather say that up front.
What it does is pull your shoulders back into position so you notice the moment you start to slump. That noticing is the whole mechanism. The evidence that bracing alone permanently changes posture is thin — what actually changes posture is building the strength and the habit to hold the position without help. A corrector buys you the awareness while you do that.
Used that way, it works. Worn all day as a crutch, it does not, and may let the muscles you are trying to train do even less.
How to wear it
- Start with 30–60 minutes a day, not all day. Build up as it stops feeling like work.
- Snug enough that you feel a gentle pull back. Not so tight that it digs in or your arms tingle — loosen it if that happens.
- Wear it while you are at a desk or on your phone. That is when most people slump.
- Figure-8 straps with adjustable buckles. Sits flat enough to wear under a shirt.
Sizing
Available S through XXXL. The size chart our supplier provides is unreliable enough that we have taken it down rather than print numbers we cannot stand behind — we are getting verified measurements and will publish them here when we have them. In the meantime: if you are between sizes, size up. If it does not fit, the 30-day return covers it and you do not pay return shipping.
Care
Hand wash cold, air dry. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron — the support bars and elastic will not survive it.
Who should skip it
If you have a diagnosed spinal condition, a recent injury, or persistent numbness or nerve pain, talk to a physio before strapping anything to your back. This is a habit tool, not a medical device.
