A posture corrector is a reminder, not a cure. We would rather say that up front.

What it does is pull your shoulders back into position so you notice the moment you start to slump. That noticing is the whole mechanism. The evidence that bracing alone permanently changes posture is thin — what actually changes posture is building the strength and the habit to hold the position without help.
